Sowing info: Indoors - fill a seed tray or pots with good, free-draining, seed compost. Outdoors - prepare the soil by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 20-25˚C (68-77˚F) until after germination. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. Can also be sown outdoors once the ground has warmed, 6mm (¼") deep, in rows 20cm (8") apart.
Growing info: Transplant seedlings in bunches into trays or 7.5cm (3")pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 30cm (12") apart. Thin out seedlings sown outdoors to 30cm (12") apart.
