Description
A fine example of a classic industrial vintage 1950s oak Staverton storage cabinet with recessed overhead lifting doors - a well-crafted piece.
Staverton Joinery dates back to the 1920s and developed a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship supplying furniture for Crown Court Buildings and major London hotels.
This beautiful piece of furniture has superb construction, quality, very desirable and very functional when used as a large storage solution, presented in a mid-century and stylish way.
There are five individual shelves each with a fold up door front that slides and pushes back into the top of the section to keep it open.
In excellent overall quality, although there are some minor marks (water stain) in the surface finish.
The rear is branded with the distinctive crown and Mar 1959 ER "Staverton" FCB 62.
Dimensions: W92cm x D36cm x H186cm.
Scaramanga's vintage cabinets are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal. Please look at the photos to get an idea of their condition.
