This book contains signatures of 140gsm white acid free cartridge paper as well as decorative dividing pages, making 90 white pages waiting for your pencil, pens, charcoal, ink or light watercolour.
The covers use handprinted paper in an original design in gold over a red background. This paper is mounted onto hardcovers and finished with a red book cloth spine.The cover has a gold band, front and back matching the gold on red paper cover.
Everything is stitched together along the spine with ‘buttonhole binding” making a decorative pattern, using a yellow cotton, thick bookbinding thread.
Covers are handprinted paper in a design inspired by a traditional Japanese motif and silkscreen printed by myself, using gold ink over red.
