DESIGN INSPIRATION: I grew up in Solna, a suburb just to the north of Stockholm city centre and a lot of my childhood was spent exploring the local royal park called Hagaparken. I particularly liked to play in the Haga Echo Temple which was built in 1790 as a summer dining room for King Gustav III, who loved to entertain outdoors. As well as being a focal point in the park, the acoustics produced by the oval shape assisted the conversation of the king and his guests across the large oval table.
