The Novy Cloud Mineral Black is a powerful 110cm ceiling hood that is mounted directly above a hob and unlike many ceiling hoods that require complicated ducted ventilation, this model is specifically designed to work in recirculation mode, making it very easy to install.

Thoughtfully designed, with a black aluminium frame, this hood features two separate lighting modes in order for it to look stylish in the kitchen whether the extractor is activated or purely providing ambient lighting when required. The Cooking mode provides four levels of cold light for better visibility, while the variable Mood mode changes to deliver much warmer tones and all can be easily adjusted using the remote control or via the Novy Connect app.

Very quiet with an integrated silencer, yet powerful and efficient due to the use of perimeter extraction, this ceiling extractor has four speeds with flow rate of up to 1010m³/h and noise levels ranging from 36dB to 53dB. It also includes a delayed switch-off mode which recirculates air in post-ventilation mode for 30 minutes and it has a safety Auto-stop function after three hours, in case it is inadvertently left on. It also features the intelligent Novy In-Touch function, which means that it can be paired with a Novy In-Touch induction hob beneath, and the hood can then be operated using touch controls on the hob.

Novy’s development of Monoblock filters purely for the purpose of recirculation without compromising performance enables plug and play installation. This means that builders do not have to create false ceilings in order incorporate ducted ventilation thus making this type of fashionable extractor far easier to accommodate in most UK kitchens. Monoblock filters consist of a web structure which is attached to spherical carbon particles that absorb grease and odours very effectively. Together with being highly efficient, the carbon filters are also cost effective as they only need replacing every three to five years, or after 900 hours of cooking.
