Description
‘Misselthwaite’ is inspired by the eerie mystery and strength of nature taking over and of course the locked up secret garden of the neglected Misselthwaite Manor in Frances Hodgson-Burnett’s classic story The Secret Garden.
I have strayed away from traditional printing methods this time to keep the shades and tones, smudges and mistakes of the original pencil and charcoal sketch in this digitally printed wallpaper showing the character of the initial drawing but recoloured in rich forest greens.
Our new Eco non-woven wallpapers and non-woven substrates are all sourced from sustainably managed forests and are printed at one of the few remaining, traditional, wallpaper printers in England, using non-toxic water-based inks. The Eco non-woven wallpapers are made of 79% renewable raw materials and produce 30% less greenhouse gasses during manufacturing than standard non-woven papers.
