If there was ever an architect who deserved a show in an art museum, it is John Lautner. As a tribute to his cultural impact, we named this center table Lautner. The mix between the brass structure and the walnut creates a sophisticated approach to this everyday center table. Inside you can display books or magazines that can be seen through the smoked glass.
A complex and controversial figure, Polanski is a man who has had to endure a devastating tragedy in his life, the brutal murder of his loved one. The pain experienced by Polanski throughout his life was often reflected in his films. The red lines on this white rug, are like the scars of a heartbreaking story. The material used is felted wool and the technique applied to the making of this rug is a very special one that calls on Portuguese artisans, masters of handcrafting, to weave this rug by hand on an old loom.
Craig Ellwood was an influential Los Angeles-based modernist architect who fashioned a persona and career through equal parts of talent for good design, self-promotion, and ambition. Our mid-century modern Craig Console carries an uncompromised retro style and strong presence. The beautifully textured Guatemalan marble top stands on a light polished brass structure evoking the boho-chic emotions and sleek lines that moved Ellwood.
