Who knew farming could get this competitive?! Hedgeways is a luxury two-player strategy game presented in a wooden hinged box Good Things: Responsibly made and completely plastic-free! Beautiful wooden, tactile tiles made from sustainably sourced wood with an FSC core and oak veneer from managed forest plantations in Europe The inks used to print onto the wood are UV cured, which means they are more energy efficient and less harmful than solvent based inks 100% cotton bag Recycled paper instructions 5mm hinged wooden box made entirely from wood! Hedgeways is a competitive game in which you enclose fields using your 'hedge' tiles. Each time you enclose a field you get a point for each empty square inside it, which represents an acre of land. Farmers take it in turns to lay 1, 2 or 3 hedges on their turn, linked to each other and at least one other hedge using the same coloured squares. We love the wooden box containing the game - look closely it's a work of art! Hedgeways and Sproutword were invented by Ian and Dan who began designing games during lunch breaks while working at the NHS! They are committed to sustainability and have ensured their games are completely plastic-free and use locally-sourced and reusable, recycled or recyclable materials.
