From Above' is one of my latest collections, inspired by satellite imagery of the landscapes and cities. Each piece of glass is hand cut and the edges are finished on a grinding wheel. The glass is then placed in an intricate design, creating an abstract pattern. Lustres are used the surface of the glass, giving this collection a beautiful quality. 'Heatwave? is a development from this, looking at satellite imagery of temperature maps with hot and cold spots.
