Red Alert
Love industrial design? Then say hello to our Detroit collection. Inspired by the weathered beauty of Motor City, these long porcelain tiles capture the essence of exposed brick walls, complete with realistic texture and rich colour variation.
They’re the opposite of bland and boring - instead, they’re guaranteed to inject personality and more than a touch of industrial chic into your home, especially in this stunning colour way. With patches of white and brown set against plenty of light and dark red hues, it's the classic exposed brick look, only updated for today's interiors. That slender profile will always attract attention - and look great on Instagram, too.
Italian Passion
When it comes to tiles, the Italians know their stuff and Detroit is no exception. Their secret lies in the details, with texture and irregular edges representing the subtle imperfections of exposed brick in stunning detail - and that’s before we mention the variation from piece to piece.
Boasting a staggering 100 unique designs, the overall effect is mesmerising, adding depth and character to any interior. There’s also the slender profile; the long shape of these tiles feels fresh and contemporary - it’ll always attract attention.
Truly Versatile
The true beauty of Detroit lies in its adaptability. These stunning tiles can literally go anywhere! Completely resistant to water, they can be laid over splashbacks, shower walls and even outside.
And because they’re made from quality porcelain, they’re more than happy gracing your floors, even high footfalls areas such as kitchens and hallways. Thanks to their texture, they score an R10 slip rating, giving you additional peace of mind, especially in wet areas such as bathrooms.
How To Style
There’s no right or wrong way to use Detroit, so feel free to experiment. If you’re tiling a bathroom, it works well with a grey floor tile such as Motion Light but you could also opt for a reclaimed wood effect tile, if you love the urban loft look.
You can lay the tiles with a random joint, brick bond or even herringbone - the choice is entirely up to you. We just recommend using a 5mm grout joint, with a dark grey or brown grout. And one final tip - always mix tiles from different boxes, to ensure a beautiful blended finish.
