Black By Design was established in 2010 as an online only retailer and has worked closely with many brands to develop an extensive range of quality items for our customers
Unlike most retailers we took the decision to open our own shop in early 2018 which has given us the opportunity to display our brands to a wider range of customers based at the fabulous Mercia Marina just outside Derby.
Black by Design is an authorised stockist for all the brands featured and aims to bring you the best and latest designs from all over the world for your home interior.
Current brands which we source worldwide include Italian brand Alessi, Danish brands Umage, Audo Copenhagen, Ferm Living, Rosendahl Copenhagen, Kahler, Kay Bojesen, Bjorn Wiinblad, Arne Jacobsen, Georg Jensen and Normann Copenhagen, Dutch brand Fatboy, German brand Blomus and home grown brands Tweedmill, Helen Moore, Bronte, LSA, Joseph Joseph, Wireworks and Garden Trading to name but a few.
