Standing in Solidarity: supporting communities with ethical gifting
‘Choosing a gift from Amnesty means you're not just giving a present - you're helping to support vital human rights causes around the world’- Sacha Deshmukh, Amnesty International UK’s Chief Executive
Amnesty International stands in solidarity with all civilians killed and injured in Gaza, Israel and throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territories. By supporting the Amnesty Shop you can help protect civilian lives and demand accountability for war crimes in Israel and Gaza.
Whether you don't like the idea of buying more 'stuff' for people who have everything; worry about the environmental impact of buying gifts or have simply left things a bit late, our range of virtual gifts could be for you.
With each gift you buy you will receive a greetings card to send to a recipient of your choice and your donation will be used to enable vital human rights work in the UK and around the world.
‘This moving collection offers a clear understanding of why Iranian women are protesting for freedom and their rights. I found the book an emotional read, not just because the stories are painful or tragic, but because many of us resonate with them. These women are fearless, brave and utterly powerful.’
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe
‘The strength and the beauty of this book is its resolute and joyful nod to queer history, the multiplicity of our stories and the ongoing, transformative process of our queer footprints which continue to add layers onto the city I was lucky enough to grow up in. London, through the eyes of Glass, is ever-changing but always radical.’ Juno Roche.
Supporting Palestinian producers:
"Thank you for your messages of support and concern for our suppliers and friends in Palestine. These horrific developments come at a time of year when Medjoul date and olive producers would be reaping the fruits of the hard work they had put in all year. These harvests provide crucial livelihoods and food security for hundreds of thousands of rural families. Everyone we speak to in Palestine shares our absolute horror at the escalation of violence. They ask for: equality, justice, dignity, freedom, and an immediate end to the siege on Gaza" – Zaytoun, featured supplier

New ethical Christmas gift range from Amnesty International - colourful, sustainable, and meaningful gifts for everyone on your list
‘Choosing a gift from Amnesty means you're not just giving a present - you're helping to support vital human rights causes around the world’- Sacha Deshmukh, Amnesty International UK’s Chief Executive
This year’s catalogue has a focus on refugees, highlighting their hopes and challenges. The collection includes our lifeboat candles, made from recycled candles which have been created as a powerful reminder of our need to shine a light on the perilous journey taken by people seeking asylum, and our new refugee art collection - a special new range of greeting cards that beautifully captures the passions and talents of artists from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
Sacha Deshmukh, Amnesty International UK’s Chief Executive, said:
“In solidarity with refugees, this year’s Christmas catalogue features a range of items that highlight the experiences of those fleeing conflict and persecution and are seeking asylum.
“With a range of sustainably and ethically sourced products, every item in Amnesty’s shop contributes to our work fighting human rights abuses.
“Choosing a gift from Amnesty means you're not just giving a present - you're helping to support vital human rights causes around the world."
Also new for this year, a colourful selection of coasters, notebook and magnetic 'to do' list featuring the inspirational Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, also includes the Amnesty International logo.
Popular favourites are back, including best selling Amnesty cards, t-shirts, inspirationally-themed chocolates and books for all ages.
