Consumer interest in brushed brass has surged, according to new research from bathroom specialists R2 Bathrooms.
Using data from Google Trends, R2 Bathrooms found searches for the term ‘brushed brass’ in the search engine’s Home & Garden category have climbed steadily over the last five years.
The news comes as R2 Bathrooms unveils their Brushed Brass variant of the Halcyon range of showers and taps.
The Halcyon Collection of shower systems and taps combines classic Shaker style with statement good looks to inject a timeless sense of luxury into bathrooms and ensuites.
Kate O’Brien of R2 Bathrooms said: “Brushed brass brings real warmth to the bathroom, elevating it from functional to fabulous.
“It offers a classic, refined finish but still has a contemporary touch.
“Plus, they are incredibly durable and will retain their good looks for years.”
R2 Bathrooms carried out the research using the Google Trends platform.
Searches for ‘Brushed Brass’ within the Home and Garden category, have increased from an indexed score of '5' in March 2020 to '89' in March 2025.
