Consumer interest in herringbone flooring is soaring, according to new research from wood floor specialists Woodpecker Flooring.
Using research from Google, they found searches for the term ‘herringbone flooring’ peaked at an all-time high earlier this month.
Darwyn Ker, Managing Director of Woodpecker Flooring, said: “I’m not at all surprised to see herringbone flooring enjoying a resurgence in popularity.
“Herringbone flooring is a classic style that has a transformative effect on any space. It adds an instant touch of elegance and sophistication, creating a sense of timeless decor that can elevate the entire look of any room.”
Woodpecker Flooring’s own herringbone ranges include the four-strong Highclere Engineered Wood Floor Collection – which is famed for its super wide parquet planks.
These striking large-format herringbone planks have been designed to make a style statement wherever they are used. Offering the illusion of more space, they are the perfect choice for homeowners who want to make their homes feel more spacious.
The range is available in four finishes: Highclere Feather Oak brings together calm white grains and soft grey tones to create a contemporary look, while the Highclere Natural Oak variant captures elegance and traditional artistry with its rich honey tones.
Rich and sophisticated in colour, Highclere Coffee Oak offers stunning dark tones for a more traditional feel, while Highclere Biscotti Oak brings together rich biscuit tones and gentle sweeps of caramel to work beautifully in both modern and classic schemes.
The Highclere Collection is available now from Woodpecker Flooring, with prices starting at £109 per m2.
