Charlie started with a simple love of bread-making. Founders Tara and Neil wanted to bake perfect sourdough outdoors, but nothing on the market quite delivered. Barbecues lacked control, pizza ovens were too limited, and ceramic eggs were too much hassle. So, they created Charlie—a versatile charcoal oven that could do it all.
