Consumer interest in all things rugs is soaring, according to new research from eclectic homeware brand Where Saints Go.
Using data from Pinterest, Where Saints Go found searches for ‘living room rug’ has increased 30 per cent, while interest in bedroom rugs has also surged.
It comes as Where Saints Go launches a new collection of boho-inspired rugs that bring texture and pattern to interior schemes.
Tracey Hague, Founder of Where Saints Go, said: “Whether you want to add style in the bedroom or an additional layer of cosiness in living spaces, rugs are one of interior design’s unsung heroes.
“They are an incredibly versatile addition to the home, and the right rug will not only transform the look and feel of any space, but it can also be used to highlight key pieces of furniture too.
“A large rug in the dining area can be used to frame a table and chairs, while in the bedroom, it can used to anchor the furnishings and bring beds and bedside units together.”
Where Saints Go’s new collection of luxury rugs are handcrafted pieces that exude decadence. The neutral colour palette around which they have all been designed means they will harmoniously slot into existing interior schemes while their textured finish will add interest without overwhelming the space.
What’s more, they are durable and made to last.
Tracey added: “Investing in a beautiful rug is the best design decision homeowners will make over winter. Not only will it add interest but it will make the home feel cosier and more put-together as winter takes hold.”
The Rug Collection is available now from Where Saints Go, with prices starting at £150.
