Interiors Defined by Vibrancy and Luxury



The Ruby Royal Penthouse is the latest partnership project between designer João Campinas and LUXXU. This exclusive project was conceptualized near the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, playing on the vibrancy of this location. Dramatic accents, bold colors and patterns, and musical poetry best define the interiors of the penthouse, complemented by several high-end designs from luxury brands like LUXXU, Boca do Lobo, and DelightFull. The Matheny collection from the latter served as the main inspiration for João Campinas to visualize the interiors, mainly due to its musicality and luxurious frame.

The entryway highlights a simpler but effective decor structure, prioritizing an uncluttered aesthetic with the Spear wall lamps making a stunning visual along the staircase. These exclusive pieces beautifully contrast the purity of Ibiza marble with the timelessness of brass. Moving to the hallway, one can find exquisite pieces like the Empire console, the Crown XL mirror, the Waterfall II big wall lamps, and the Zeno door pull by PullCast.

The dining room presents a more dramatic color scheme consisting of vivid hues of burgundy, black, and pops of gold. The Newton dining table by Boca do Lobo sets the tone with its outstanding form, comprised of lacquered spheres and a textured surface. The dining set also features the Charla dining chairs upholstered in a vigorous shade and the Tycho Rectangular suspension in brass and crystal glass. Other noteworthy designs include the Tenor sideboard and Waterfall II big wall lamps by LUXXU, Boca do Lobo’s Robin mirror, and the Matheny floor lamp by DelightFull. 

The Charla bar chairs and the Brubeck pendants become an empowering duo, making an impactful statement in the kitchen. The mirrored cabinetry adds to the personalized appeal of the house, and is adorned by the textured Macri door pulls by PullCast. 

Courtesy of an open-plan concept, all paths lead to the climatic living room set. The Algerone Angular sofa is presented in evocative burgundy hues, making it as distinctive as possible. The warm velvet and leather sofa layers contest beautifully with the magnificence of the Kotta rug, and its geometric features guide you directly to the Reeves chairs by Essential Home, a mid-century creation worthy of the Hollywood era. LUXXU’s sculptural Empire center table and side table highlight round precision, bathed in metallic and marble abundance. Classic lighting pieces with a complex outline and golden allure were chosen to diversify the room’s palette. The Tycho Round suspension becomes the centerpiece whereas the Matheny wall lamps assist, placed against a stunning red Emperador marble install.

Infused in a dirty red and gold color scheme, the bedroom showcases comfortable luxury in every section while offering sweeping views over the breathtaking waterway of Istanbul. The neutral-toned Charla XL bed anchors the area, giving its royal presence, alongside the Symphony nightstands and the Draycott pendants. The Imperfectio armchairs by Boca do Lobo bring a cutting-edge attitude while a bespoke Algerone center table showcases premium craftsmanship. 

The walk-in closet maintains the style, featuring the Waltz closet, the Prisma ottoman, and the bespoke Bauhaus rug by Rug’Society. The Waterfall Rectangular suspension concludes the glamorous sensation as it coalesces delicate crystal glass tubes with gold-plated brass in a geometric form.

One cannot deny the palatial style of the bathroom. It was designed as an interior of marbled surfaces in a hexagonal-like structure, almost like a house of mirrors, creating a striking visual layout. Here, the Symphony pedestal sink adds songfulness to the area with its organ-like tubes and the Shield mirror adds even more drama with its intriguing and decorative composition, both designs are by Maison Valentina. On the other space, the Symphony bathtub, made of black fiberglass and brass, offers a clean and elevated aesthetic lighted by LUXXU’s Spear wall lamps. 

Versatility and productivity are the main keywords for this home office decor. The material abundance is evident as the designer wanted to make it as authentic and characteristic as possible. The pairing of the Empire Emperador desk with the Atlas office chair by Boca do Lobo puts the spotlight on contemporary design, and the Babel suspension raises the bar with its exceptional structure. 

Discover the Thomson single sofas and the Thor center table in the lounge area, epitomizing timelessness. Then, the Snake rug by Rug’Society adds layers of playfulness, and the Symphony cabinet and the Lloyd bookcase offer plenty of storage space. Lastly, the classic Babel wall lamps complement each surrounding piece, adding detail.
