Made from Borosilicate glass which is formed under high temperatures for durability, each glass is hand finished for a naturally textured appearance. Our coloured glass is never sprayed on, but instead the colour is embedded in the glass. This not only makes it food-safe but offers a purity of colour and improves the overall quality of the piece.

Tama Jewellery Box

The elegant design of the Tama jewellery box is enhanced with a mesh brass detail. The rectangular box is divided in six practical compartments, perfect for storing jewellery or cufflinks. The box has an attractive aged finish that gives it a certain understated elegance and sits beautifully on a dress table.

The metal is skilfully soldered around the glass with traditional tools; this handmade process means that there are weld marks on the joins of each piece, a feature that we love as it tells the story of how the product is made.

We choose to work with natural, recycled and reclaimed materials for our pieces. Jute is a great natural material we love to use as it is a rain-fed crop that has little need for fertilisers or pesticides. It is a natural vegetable fibre that can be spun into strong and durable threads. When combined with naturally soft and supple cotton, we’ve found a perfect blend that showcases both durability and comfort. The traditional Indian handloom represents one of India's most ancient crafts, embodying centuries of heritage. Our cushion covers honour this legacy, meticulously woven, braided, and stitched by skilled artisans using age-old techniques. Each piece celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Indigo Drop Teapot - Cream & Indigo

This elegant tea pot is a new addition to our best-selling Indigo Drop collection. Smaller than our existing Mali tea pot, it is the perfect size for one to two people. The pot body and lid both feature our signature Indigo Drop pattern, which has been carefully hand painted. These ceramics are handmade in Vietnam by skilled artisans, using a wealth of techniques, some of which are thousands of years old. Our large antique brass five-candle candelabra is made by first pouring molten metal into a cavity of packed sand, and then, when cooled, breaking the metal cast out of the sand to reveal its beautiful organic shape, inspired by spring flowers. Mango Wood Chess & Draughts

This artisan made chess set has a tactile timeless quality. The board is handmade from sustainable mango wood, embossed with the nkuku logo. A wonderful gift for young or old and a great way to while away the hours. Instructions are included. The set is presented in a Nkuku gift box.

Our mango wood pieces are created from sustainable mango wood. The Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit, harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, they can be cut down and used to make our wooden pieces. This allows farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.

Recycled Glass Dome Cake Stand

These elegant recycled glass cake domes provide a stylish way to display and store culinary delights from cakes to cheeses. The dome slots neatly into the mango wood base.

We use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in moulds to create beautiful new products.
