Tash Bradley, Lick’s Director of Interior Design & Colour Psychologist shares her top colour palette picks to turn down the temperature, and turn up the cool factor:

“When it comes to creating a relaxed and cooling atmosphere at home, look to the cool side of the colour wheel. Lick Blue 05 is a universally appealing mid blue with lilac undertones, which evokes the feeling of tranquillity, without feeling too chilly. This colour has vivid associations with the sky and water, making it a natural choice for creating a serene environment and a fresh feel.”

“Keep your green hues fresh and zesty if you want to feel cooler within your home, as these colours will deepen your connection with nature and the great outdoors, without having to fling open the windows and let in the warm air. Lick Green 13 is an uplifting colour which will remind you of cool pistachio gelato, whereas Lick Green 14 with its grey undertones has more restful qualities which make it a perfect choice for a bedroom on balmy summer nights”
