For Autumn Winter 2024, nkuku introduces a thoughtfully curated and consciously designed collection of furniture and home accessories handcrafted using traditional skills. The collection, with its warm autumnal hues, organic shapes and natural fibres, will infuse the home with a layer of cosiness, whilst, a sense of natural luxury is evoked through different textiles such as antique brass, elegant recycled glassware, and hand-finished ceramics.
Rich, deep green soft velvet cushions are mixed with rustic jute and cotton textiles featuring traditional designs that have been meticulously woven by hand using traditional techniques to create tactile home accents. New additions to the Ibo Reclaimed Wood furniture collection include a bedside table, console table, bench, and stool which, along with existing styles within the collection, celebrate the versatility and creativity of traditional crafts. Each product has been hand-made from rustic reclaimed wood originally forming the exterior of an Indian truck, which has been re-purposed to create beautiful pieces for the home.
Embracing the autumn/winter season is about creating a comfortable and warming home for enjoying solitary quiet moments curled up in an armchair with a good book, or preparing a beautifully laid dinner table for family and friends using understated yet generous earthy-toned and hand-finished tableware, classic shaped hammered recycled glassware and eye-catching antique brass finished candlesticks adding a touch of timeless elegance. Layered together, these beautifully crafted pieces restore the art of living well as we return to life indoors once the evenings draw in and the temperature drops.

Our new warm amber-toned Nuwara hand-finished tableware brings relaxed autumnal elegance. Styled with wooden serveware and the new terracotta-tinted Yala glassware, the dining table is transformed to celebrate the change in seasons in an understated way.’
