Introducing our new Angelika table lamp

Coldharbour Lights is excited to reveal the latest addition to its collection, a feather table light that brings a whimsical touch to the softest lighting.

The simple silhouette of the palm tree trunk with its trumpeting fronds and low hanging fruit was the starting point for the design of the Angelika table light. The feathers create a whimsical quality that is grounded by the solid, handmade ‘trunk’. The air and the earth are at play here.

Angelika is launching at Clerkenwell Design Week's Light in The House of Detention, stand P27.

SUSTAINABILTY

Every aspect of this light is hand made or processed in the UK with minimal waste and power usage. The hen and goose feathers used are byproducts of poultry farming; these are hand dyed and sewn in the UK. The base is handmade in English oak. The carbon footprint of each table lamp is as restrained as possible.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

The Angelika is sold complete with LED light bulb so that she is delivered completely ready to add a soft and warm point of interest to an interior.

Standing 47cm tall, the soft feather canopy has an approximate diameter of 33cm.

DESIGN JOURNEY WITH CLIENT

This design crystallised through an ongoing consultation process with a client who was looking for an elegant and striking table light. In return for the inspiration and feedback during the period of trial and error, the lamp was named after her, Angelika.

Coldharbour Lights will also be showing its exuberant Amaryllis pendant shades in pink variations.
