Forget hot chocolate stations and bar carts, 2024 is going to be the year of coffee house-inspired interiors, according to new research from eco paint brand Victory Colours.
Utilising data from Pinterest, Victory Colours found a surge in interest for the term ‘Kafe Aesthetic’ – increasing 820% over a 24-month period.
Victoria Yardley, founder of Victory Colours, said; “Coffee shops are very similar to the home – they are warm, inviting and increasingly multifunctional, with hubs for home workers while other corners are taken over by teenagers sampling iced treats. It is no surprise we are seeing their influence creep into home interiors.”
Plush seating, carefully placed lighting and lots of natural materials will all help create the coffee house vibe within the home, but a backdrop of brooding browns will bring the whole look together.
Victoria added: “A really easy way to bring a taste of coffee shop décor into the home is a paint refresh. Rich beiges and dramatic browns will usher in a sense of darkness and relaxation.”
Victory Colours’ eco paint is perfect for those looking to refresh their home this spring. Not only is the paint vegan-accredited and environmentally-friendly, it is also richly-pigmented to ensure depth of colour.

Paints are priced at £44.95 for 2.5-litres of matt emulsion and all are available from victorycolours.co.uk
