XV Stripes launch The Compass Blanket

Independent interiors brand XV Stripes has launched a new blanket that encapsulates the brand’s love of the coast as well as its commitment to the environment.


Resplendent in XV Stripes’ dazzling blue and crisp white colours, The Compass Blanket puts the navigational instrument centre stage, with a striking hand-drawn illustration taking up most of the blanket.


Great looks aside, the double-sided blanket is manufactured in the UK from 75% recycled cotton.


Izzey Hung, founder of XV Stripes, said: “When we decided to add to our blanket collection, we knew we wanted to stick to our roots and create a piece that not only paid homage to our beautiful coast, but also protect it too.


“We worked hard to find a British manufacturer who could create a piece that not only looked stunning but would use sustainable and eco fibres.


“The result is a gorgeous blanket that would look as beautiful on the beach as it would a couch or a bed.”

Founder Izzey Hung nurtured the desire to reflect her love of the ocean, and all things on it and under it – particularly the Isle of Wight & Hampshire – her home.
