EU-funding for product development

AN-NA is a design manufacturer in Germany. The name stands for high-quality living cushions and colorful wall design. This year, the small manufacturer is receiving funding from the European Union. 

The development of an innovative product is being funded: tickings with a filling made of sheep's wool.

The EU funding program is called LEADER. The aim of LEADER and therefore the EU is to strengthen rural areas.


And AN-NA Design is actually located in the countryside, in the municipality of Eitorf. In addition to the small main town, this place consists of 57 other villages. Eitorf is located 50 km southeast to the city of of Cologne.

AN-NA is expected to start implementation in the summer of 2024. Then the first tickings are sewn and filled. Until then, sheep's wool from various suppliers in Germany, which is naturally cleaned and washed, will be tested.
