Hot off the heels of a successful inaugural event back in June, the Women In Furniture Network (WIFN) is excited to announce 3 upcoming events across the UK. All centred round empowering and celebrating women, WIFN unites women from across the furniture and design industry to foster meaningful connections, gaining invaluable insights and inspiring leadership.

On the 25th October, WIFN will be coming to Birmingham for their “Mentorship Matters” event, at the Iron House art space. This event will focus on the importance of mentorship in professional growth and will provide attendees with a platform to connect with experienced industry leaders. It's a golden opportunity for women in the furniture industry to find a mentor or become a mentor, as WIFN facilitates a platform that allows for effective networking helping increase professional growth. Alongside networking, attendees will also hear from Leadership, Culture Consultant & Business Coach, Cheryl Busby, who's expertise will not only highlight the importance of mentoring but also key career skills all women need.

Looking ahead to 2024, the Furniture Shows team behind WIFN will be bringing the January Furniture Show to the NEC Birmingham from the 21-24th January. During the show WIFN will be holding their 3rd event on the afternoon of the 22nd January, called “Speed Networking Spectacle.” Keeping with WIFN’s overriding theme of forging connections amongst women in the industry, this event will offer attendees a fast-paced and dynamic environment to make meaningful connections with peers, mentors, and potential collaborators.

With the Manchester Furniture Show relaunching on 10-11th July 2024 at Manchester Central, WIFN will be hosting their “Leadership Unleashed” event at the show. On the 11th July, this WIFN event will provide a space for visitors to explore and embrace their leadership potential with insightful speakers talking about their own career journey and tips on successful leadership. It's a key event that will inspire and equip visitors, encouraging them to succeed in the innovative and diverse furniture industry.
With 3 new event dates coming up, WIFN is also excited to announce their new partnership with eBay, the internet marketplace is a big supporter of The Furniture Show’s having already partnered with the January Furniture Show earlier in the year. Alongside this WIFN will continue to work with their Principal Media Partner, Furniture News, who have been a longtime supporter of The Furniture Shows. Both partners share in The Furniture Shows’ dedication to promoting diversity, fostering growth, and creating opportunities for women in the furniture industry.
