Introducing Misselthwaite wallpaper at ICFF, New York Design Week

Bring the enchantment and mystery of an ancient garden into your home, with a stunning new wallpaper design, Misselthwaite from Abigail Edwards, depicting the gnarled and imperfect beauty of age-old vines.

This digitally printed wallpaper, made using ECO non-woven paper is created from a hand drawn charcoal and pencil design by Abigail, to evoke a sense of discovery: a hidden garden where ungoverned nature has gently reclaimed its sacred space and botanical beauty entwines with Gothic undertones.

Misselthwaite is available in three colourways: Charcoal, Mist and Forest.

About ECO non-woven wallpaper:
ECO non-woven wallpaper is good news for the environment because it is made from 79% renewable raw materials. The PET (polyethylene) fibres, which are traditionally oil-based, have been replaced with renewable PLA (plant based) fibres, meaning that it can be recycled or composted. PLA fibres produce approximately 30% less greenhouse gases during the manufacturing process compared with PET fibres.

Abigail says:
'I worked on this charcoal and pencil drawing over many months. It is inspired by the eerie mystery and strength of nature taking over and of course the locked-up secret garden of Frances Hodgson-Burnett's classic story, The Secret Garden.

I have strayed away from traditional printing methods this time, to keep the shades and tones of the original sketch in this digitally printed wallpaper.'
