Our wool throws and blankets are available in a wide range of prints inspired by calming nature scenes and the beauty of animals. All designs are created by Jurate Jakstaite, J.J. Textile's owner and designer. Sustainability is very important to us and that is why we not only use natural fibres to create our accessories, but have just started working with recycled yarns, the perfect alternatives to synthetic fibres.

A cooling, breathable fibre, cotton is a staple fabric all year round, especially in spring and summer. Our cotton throws measure 130 x 190cm and were released in 2022; they are compact and perfect for days spent out and about. Our recycled cotton blankets are new addition to our collection for 2023, 160 x 190cm, and are our largest size to date. Made in the UK from recycled cotton, these cooling, breathable blankets are perfect for adding a gently insulating layer and some unique character to bedding.

J.J. Textile is an independent business based in Derbyshire, UK. We are known for our cosy blankets, cushion covers and throws all in our original designs. All products are made from the natural fibres of wool and cotton. We have proudly been supplying independent businesses as well as larger retailers in the UK and worldwide for the past ten years and our custom blankets and soft accessories have keeping customers cosy in hotels, cafes and wine bar terraces.
We are passionate about environmentally and ethically sourced production. Our soft furnishings are made from wool created on the hills and pastures of the beautiful scenic Norwegian countryside. Wool is one of the most sustainable fibres; it is renewable, recyclable and biodegradable.
Jurate, designer and director, draws inspiration for the unique, original designs from nature, the ever-changing seasons and her customers ideals. She has a longstanding relationship with trusted manufacturers in her native Lithuania and manufacturers here in the UK, who carefully and skilfully bring her designs to life in either pure wool or blends of wool and cotton. Each accessory is carefully crafted to be cherished, shared and to last.
