Industrial but Make It Modern, the Style of LUXXU’s Newest Luxury Home

LUXXU saw no better place than Manchester to insert its brand-new luxury home, a prestigious apartment projected right in the center of the city. Manchester has a past vastly rooted in the industrial movement and modern times with a special focus on art and textiles. All of this rich history served as a major inspiration for many of the home’s interiors. When designing each space, LUXXU strived to create aesthetically pleasing yet functional living spaces. The apartment is fully furnished with a series of brand classics and innovative designs by LUXXU, among a few other surprises that offer this estate a multi-layered character while also paying homage to its location.

Built like an ample atrium, the entryway explores the cultural background of the city giving prominence to art-filled designs and modern classic elements. The color scheme consists of shades of white, brown, golden, and grey.

The u-shaped staircase evokes both a sense of traditionality and modernity and, in the center of the frame, the Waterfall Sputnik suspension makes a statement on its own, creating an empowering scenery.

The kitchen was styled industrially but features a sensational number of modern features. The sleek kitchen cabinetry was painted in a darker yet subdued shade that is further complemented by the Quantum handles by PullCast, a series of pieces with black atom-inspired motifs. The custom-made counter island with a veined marble exterior and a wooden interior adds an extra layer of sophistication while being illuminated by Waterfall pendants. The Otto Swivel bar chairs in grey velvet and leather with brass details elevate the interior.

While modest in size, this glamorous dining room is well-appointed with a plethora of ostentatious design features. One can dine and enjoy aerial views of the Manchester skyline. Furthermore, the Algerone rectangular dining table and dining chairs sumptuously allow for comfort and luxury. The Waterfall Rectangular suspension was chosen to light the area. This piece is made with gold-plated brass combined with ribbed fine tubes of crystal glass and exudes a natural feeling of waterfalls into this dining room. From the wooden flooring to translucent accents, one can find extra geometric details in the Nubian sideboard, which was placed right next to the window.

In contrast to other divisions, the office is set in a moodier but still extremely classic atmosphere with stronger color hues. The ensemble of the Algerone pieces makes its presence known, including the brand-new Algerone desk and office chair. If one wants to take a break from work, the Otto XL armchair is the place to be. This velvet chair in a darker blue with greenish hints was designed to be the ultimate expression of comfort. In addition, the tray ceiling is adorned with the Waterfall Round suspension, a circular-shaped piece designed to give a glamorous sensation of waterfalls, as the name indicates.

This living room is perhaps best described by its high ceilings and modern decorations. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light to come in. The Otto sofa, with its stronger tones and slightly curved form, becomes a stellar piece for one to relax and gather with friends, alongside the Gladia armchairs. Right in the middle of everything, the modular Empire III set center table makes quite an impression as its marble and brass features complement its surroundings. The brand-new Oya rug, inspired by weather phenomena, was also added to this setting for an intriguing touch. Moreover, the Harpia suspension pieces offer harmonious lighting. Last but certainly not least, a gargantuan bookcase and a marble wall unit empower the aesthetic value of the entire room.

Unveiled as a superb master suite, this utterly modern bedroom is comprised of a series of luxurious and custom-made elements. At the bedroom’s entrance, one spots a sophisticated trinity of designs in the Charla dresser, the Darian Gold mirror, and the Waterfall II wall lamp, all of which contribute to the sublimity of this space. Moving on, however, the “matriarch of the bunch” easily becomes the Charla bed, which showcases LUXXU’s impeccable craftsmanship techniques. It features a neutral scheme and it is made of leather, a bed worthy of royalty. Complementing the bed are the custom Charla nightstands, the Tenor Ottoman, and the Empire wall lamp. The Empire suspension completes this section of the bedroom with its exuberant details.

This master bedroom is also outfitted with an entertainment and lounging area. Here, LUXXU’s Charla, Empire, and Darian families create a sumptuous environment in neutral tones and golden accents. The suite also has a private master bathroom with brass and glass doors, adorned with the Tiffany marble hardware by PullCast. This piece boosts a sense of rarity and purity, matching the cosmopolitan essence of the bedroom decor.

A luxury home would not be complete without having a tremendously generous closet area. Having this in mind, LUXXU opted to give the spotlight to the Waltz collection, exuding hints of industrial design with hints of Art Deco but with a more mysterious character. For instance, the massive Waltz closet laterally covers most of the area. This modular storage solution is made of fine materials like walnut root veneer, black leather, black lacquered wood, brass, and smoked mirror. Right at the center, this area also introduces a new LUXXU design, the Waltz closet island, a sleek piece that offers extra countertop space.
