"Gotland is Sweden's largest island in the Baltic Sea where my grandparents lived and I spent many blissful childhood holidays. The distinctive rock formations, known locally as 'Rauks' are very recognisable to the island and one of the main attractions. The limestone stacks are weathered by the sea and wind, sculpted into unusual shapes, leading to some being named. My illustration in watercolour represents the rock called Kaffepannan 'Coffee Pot' and highlights the beautiful natural colours and textures that are so appreciated".
Placemats and coasters are handcrafted in UK, using euqalyptus wood, cork backing and a high gloss melamine finish that is heat and scratch resistant. Materials are sustainably sourced and highly durable. Teamed with white 100% linen napkins and table runners, handmade in Europe using 100% flax linen through a sustainable process. Easy care, pre washed linen with hand embroidered on each piece.
