Refillable candle pioneers and advocates of seasonal living, Great House Farm Stores, have released a new range of their hand poured candles: Editions.
The Welsh brand’s Editions range is firmly rooted in the seasons. Drawing inspiration from the produce that’s in season in Britain these six annual scents capture the very best of the food and flowers on offer.
To begin with the September edition is a celebration of Fig. The heady, vanilla sweetness of fig is a quintessentially late summer scent and combined with a touch of green, underripe fig and some lavender the candle sums up the months of September and October. Come November their second in Editions range will arrive with the warm and inviting scent of clementine, balanced with the woody richness of rosemary.This warming scent can accompany you through November and December. A new Editions scent will be released every two months.
The founders of Great House Farm Stores, two sisters who have upped sticks from the city and moved to a farm in Wales, are evangelical about the benefits to mind, body and soul of seasonal living. They strive to find life in every season, no matter how difficult, and they use scent to help encourage their bodies to align with the current season. The Editions range is the latest offering from the sisters to try and aid others in their own seasonal living discovery.
Like all of the luxury brand’s candles, the Editions candles are hand poured and refillable. They are a smaller size than the brand’s main collections as they’re designed to be burned through in time to refill with the next Edition.
The beautiful white ceramic pots were handmade by British pottery Buird. They’re made from buff stoneware and glazed in a gorgeous white speckle glaze. The pots were designed to look perfectly at home all year round.
Editions join the brand’s other celebrated scent collections. Born from a family that’s used fragrance to mark every significant event of their lives, Great House Farm Stores’ candles act as invitations to another, ancient, way of living.
