Wood floor experts Woodpecker Flooring have launched a new range of corresponding hardwood planks and striking herringbones to offer homeowners more versatility when choosing their flooring.

The ‘Parquet and Plank’ collection brings together three different herringbones from Woodpecker’s Goodrich collection with a matching plank from its Harlech range.

It means homeowners can lay parquet and planks side by side without worrying about different wood finishes or board thickness and opens up a wealth of design options and is ideal for those homeowners who want to create subtle contrasts between different spaces in the home.

Darwyn Ker, Managing Director of Woodpecker Flooring, said: “I think we are going to see parquet and geometric flooring make a big comeback in 2022.

“Combining different wood floors can create a beautiful look. Laying herringbone flooring alongside elegant hardwood planks offers great versatility, and with this collection, homeowners can choose colours and grains to suit their own style.

“The contrast of contemporary lines and classic patterns looks stylish, adds character and works wonderfully against many colour palettes.

“This collection makes it really easy to change effects but keep the same elegant finish between different rooms or up stairs.”

Joining the existing Goodrich Feather Oak (herringbone) and Harlech Smoked Oak (plank) ranges are Harlech Feather Oak (plank) and Goodrich Smoked Oak (herringbone).

A new biscuit collection, Biscotti, has been launched in both Goodrich and Harlech.
