In an exciting collaboration with the V&A, Blinds 2go are thrilled to announce the expansion of the successful blinds and curtains range of William Morris patterns and colours.
Blinds 2go are delighted to announce the addition of two further William Morris designs to their extensive collection of Blinds and Curtains created in collaboration with the V&A. Renowned today as the designer of patterns such as Strawberry Thief and Willow Bough, William Morris is one of the 19th century’s most celebrated designers and remains one of the most famous names in the V&A collection. The collaboration is a wonderfully contemporary take on the designer’s much-loved work, allowing you to effortlessly bring the iconic designs stylishly into your home.

Pimpernel was created in 1876 by William Morris as a wallpaper and named after the small pimpernel flowers rather than the large poppies entwined with scrolling willow leaves within the pattern. This is a stunningly beautiful, classic Morris style floral trellis with circular shapes and a strong symmetrical pattern within the leaves. Available in six colourways, from bold teal to muted blush, the wonderful floral pattern is simply exquisite and a delightfully modern take on the timeless design.

Also produced in 1876 was the Honeysuckle and Tulip fabric. Designed in collaboration with Thomas Wardle (1831–1909), it was one of Morris’ personal favourites, featuring large parrot tulips interwoven with stylised honeysuckle to create a rich and impressive pattern. With seven unique colourways, the design maintains the beauty of the original pattern, while combining it with contemporary colour palettes, making it a versatile choice and perfect for any home style.

In addition to the two new designs, Blinds 2go has launched five new colourways of the popular Strawberry Thief design, from classic manor grey to rich harissa red and timeless blue and neutral shades. A firm favourite that hasn’t been out of print since 1883, Strawberry Thief is inspired by the thrushes that frequently stole strawberries from the kitchen garden of Morris’ countryside home in Oxfordshire. These exciting new colourways are a true celebration of the classic design and the versatile new palette enables anyone to bring a touch of Morris into their home with ease.
