Now diligently run by the 3rd generation of William Woods and 4th generation his Daughter, Sarah Woods, nothing short of excellence will do. An ethos built on quality, the antidote to our throw-away society. Products durable and luxurious enough to last is the order of the day here.
Having won many accolades as Britain's Best Shop and recently voted as one of the Top Ten Interior Design Practices in the country, when visiting its not hard to see the appeal. Boasting both the oldest lift and exterior clock in the town, it has snipetts of interest for everyone.
So much care and attention is lavished on Woods' clients, in-person and online, the products and indeed surroundings and stunning displays, it's hard not to be intoxicated by the passion that runs through the Woods Family's veins. It is not uncommon to fine oneself chatting to William or Sarah and being thoroughly educated in all things linen. Not a bad thing at all!
