With summer fast approaching, it will not take long until the leaves turn brown and fun days at the beach become cosy evenings by the fireplace. Fall is coming soon, and the world of interior design is already preparing the trends for this new season.
Pullcast presents several suggestions to create the perfect fall ambience according to this year’s trends, investing in statement pieces that will draw eyes to the smallest of details.
Natural Designs

Highly influenced by environmentalist movements, the trends for this year have become more centred around natural elements, mainly with pieces made with recycled or natural elements or designed to mimic them, such as the Strelitzia Door Pull, which is inspired by a South African flower plant, that provides authentic and elegant details to projects in a sustainable way.
Curved Furniture

Reminiscent to the 1970’s interior design style, curvy aesthetics are coming back on trend this year. While usually applied to sofas or chairs, a curved handle will retain that vintage ambience and also serve a decorative but practical use. The Dune Door Pull, which resembles the sand dunes in Peru, was designed with strong curves in order to create a powerful first impression.
Art Deco

This glamorous and excessive style, popular in the 1920’s and 30’s, has returned this year, featuring strong colors, geometric patterns and bold detailing applied mostly to seating, tables and decorative items.  The Skyline Handle, based on the silhouette created by the skyscrapers in big cities, will compliment this art style perfectly.
Maximalist

Minimalist and simplistic trends have been replaced by maximalism in 2019, especially in the kitchen area. This includes more creative backsplashes, brighter color palettes and impactful detailing, such as the Hendrix Cabinet Handles, which provide an architectural aspect to the design while maintaining the artistic and stunning maximalist trend.
