Satara's owners, Andrew & Colleen Johnston have a passion for working hard to enjoy the good things in life. This includes travelling within Australia and around the world with their family to experience amazing architecture, furniture, decor, people and cultures.

Having both completed post-graduate business degrees and both having worked in the corporate world for many years, they now enjoy the freedom and creativity involved in building the Satara brand and designing and sourcing new pieces for Satara's expanding range of fantastic products. For over 10 years they continue to take pleasure in helping Australian and New Zealand customers enjoy real indoor/outdoor living.

They also have experience in the residential property market having built or renovated 7 homes since the mid-nineties and are currently residing in a bayside suburb of Melbourne. They also have 3 teenage children.
