This stunning cabinet in a deep red lacquer is in a simple style but would make a beautiful accent piece in a reception room or bedroom. The gorgeous finish is original, and would once have been covered with gold decoration of landscapes and people. Most of the gold has now worn away showing a faded background underneath, but in places - particularly on the bottom apron - the original design is still quite clear.
