On December 1st, Pantone revealed the highly-anticipated colour of the year for 2023: ‘Viva Magenta’.
Pantone describes the shade as ‘brave and fearless, a pulsating colour whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative.’

“We were thrilled to see that Pantone has chosen this beautifully rich and quite daring shade of Magenta for its highly-anticipated colour of the year. We have always tried to be brave when it comes to the colours of our collections here at Piglet in Bed, and in the last few months, we have launched our own Merlot linen bedding which matches Pantone’s choice perfectly.
The Merlot range has been extremely popular with our customers already, proving that people are ready to move away from sticking with the safer, neutral tones. We also launched our classic linen pyjamas in a ‘Cherry’ colour for the Christmas season, but will likely be adding this to our core collection after our customers have been extremely drawn to this deep, luxurious hue”
