A GOLD AND SILVER INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT BY JESSICA GERSTEN
Boca do Lobo
Home of a New York-based jewellery designer and curator, this interior design project is a construction of white, minimalist architecture. The designer behind the project, Jessica Gersten, wanted to create a strong sense of earthiness and connection to nature with natural elements of metal and stone, contrasted with gold and silver, which is a reflection of the client’s identity. The result is a luxury home grounded in earth while inspiring an elegant “Zen” sensibility.
In Tenafly, New Jersey, those natural elements form the basis for an interior design project that is luxurious yet inviting, dominated by a warm, neutral palette. “We wanted a strong sense of earthiness in the home,” says interior designer Jessica Gersten, noting the contrast to the newly built structure’s white, minimalist shell. “We wanted there to be a connection to nature. There is a little bit in every single room.”
